Producer, Writer and Performer
Sean Leviashvili is an actor, producer and writer who splits his time between Los Angeles and California. Sean recently played the role of John in Martyna Majok’s pulitzer-prize winning play “Cost of Living” at Boston’s SpeakEasy Theater. The play ran for four weeks and received stellar reviews from The Boston Globe, Broadway World, WGBH and more. Prior to this, Sean wrote, produced, co-directed and starred in LIMP, a hyperbolically autobiographical short film about dating with a disability. Additionally, Sean has acted in a number of commercials and also works as a producer and copywriter. His overall goal is to be a part of meaningful projects and productions as an actor and writer.
LIMP
Created and Written by Sean Leviashvili
Co-Directed by Sean Leviashvili & Stephen Riscica
LIMP addresses the challenges those living with disabilities face when it comes to dating. For Sean, the challenge has always been acknowledging and explaining his limp. Sean was born with cerebral palsy, something he was largely accepting of until he started online dating and realized the men he’d connect with would often lose interest as soon as he showed up with a limp. The short film speaks about the experiences he's had in covering up his disability with men he's been interested in. LIMP has screened in nearly twenty film festivals throughout the United States and United Kingdom and is available on REVRY, an LGBT streaming service in the U.S. and QueerBee, a streaming service in the U.K.
Additionally, LIMP is now being taught in a curated comedy course in the U.K. called Homo Humour. Sean’s hope is that this film will continue to help people deal with the "conversational landmines" we try and avoid when we date or simply meet new people. He would love to further develop the story and is looking for partners to help him do so.
